When we moved from CA to AZ August of 2010, I brought my sewing machines and some scraps with me in the car and not in the moving van. I started this quilt while we lived in a corporate-sponsored apartment while we got the lay of the land and looked for a house.
So finally, this week, I finished this quilt. I love the scraps and it's very YELLOW...hence the name Lemon Zest. I couldn't get a picture to show exactly how yellow it is. I quilted it on the longarm with a pantograph pattern called Popcorn and a lovely varigated sage thread. I usually don't do pantographs...don't like working from the back of the machine. And after this, I've decided I REALLY don't like them! But it went fast and I learned alot.
So here it is...in all its yellow gloriousness...can I get a WHOOP WHOOP!!!
Enjoy...leave a comment please!
